On 19th of March at exactly Cypriot time a white bus full of ERASMUS people left from Nicosia to spend a great time in Larnaca.
First stop was made in Hala Sultan mosque. Shortly before arriving a young Belgian ERASMUS archeologist Marjolein Kimmer provided all of us with brief information about this very prominent Muslim shrine. Everyone had an opportunity to see the mosque from inside. Meanwhile ESA members prepared a small challenge to visitors – “Find your shoes”. Clever ERASMUS people didn’t have a lot of problems with that (best moments in video).
As a next step into our trip was Salt Lake with 5 shy Flamingos, who, apparently were too well informed about crazy ERASMUS and allowed to look at them from further distance.
Then the white bus moved to Kamares Aqueduct, with a new challenge “Small Hill”, who came over it as a price got a great photoset for the memories from Cyprus.
Later on we entered Larnaca Downtown, which started with a nice promenade until St.Lazarus church. Girls were very happy as they were allowed to dress some new ‘skirts’ and beautiful headscarves. At St.Lazarus church official ESA sightseeing was over with another group picture.
And the free time started with lunch in a different restaurants of Larnaca. Some of ERASMUS managed even to go to Meze lunch.
Now it was a time for the funniest part of the trip – Beach time!!! Swimming, getting tan, playing footbal, volleyball and other games, which brought our mood to the highest level. And in between: ERASMUS always finds another ERASMUS and 5 more ERASMUS students from Nicosia joyned our group! Luckily we managed not to explode from the amount of laugh we had during Beach time. At 6.15pm we moved to Nicosia. Some of you could think that the day ended with that, but NO! ESA brought ERASMUS people together that day once again in Nicosia Downtown with a great being together in front of Faneromeni church and later on moved to the club.
Great day, great night! Don’t miss it next time! ;)
