We went to Limassol for the Carnival; somebody have been to Kyrenia, to Famagusta, to Paphos, to Larnaca, to Trodoos...and of course after two months the majority of ERASMUS students doesn’t know anything about the city where they’re studying! But don’t worry, ESA TEAM takes care about you: we usually take care about your free time, your social life, your health (yes, of course your health! What about SuperJuice?!), and this time we decided to take care about your culture. That’s why we organized the NICOSIA TOUR! It’s time to discover this city, so meeting point in Eleftheria square with our ESA vice-president and today also tour guide, Kyriakos. From Eleftheria square we walk to Ayia Faneromeni, and it’s a pleasure walking through the narrow streets of the old city center and listening to Chiara’s advice: she knows exactly where you can eat a typical Meze dinner, or a delicious dessert, where you can have a good coffee or drink a cocktail with your friends. Then, meeting with Mario, our tour guide, who’s going to tell us the story of Nicosia and to show us the most interesting places of both sides of this divided city. Have you ever seen those old buildings in the city center? Have you ever watched through the window of that abandoned shop?
Our tour finishes at Ledra checkpoint, but if you want to stay with us, we’re going to eat something in a traditional tavern. Do you want to join us?
