On a beautiful Sunday morning a group of approximately 160 Erasmus students went to a Carnival in Limassol. Everybody participated in a group mask, theme hippies, dressed up very colorful, flowerish and decorated with a lot of piece/Mercedes-Benz signs. On the way there we learned our favorite ESN dance, performed by ESA members to the music of Swedish House Mafia.
After arriving to Limassol, we participated in a parade. There was a very nice double-decker waiting for us, decorated with a lot of banners that we made couple of weeks earlier, with signs like: 'Make Erasmus, not war!' or 'Erasmus revolution'. Atmosphere on a parade was great, sun was shining, everybody was happily jumping in front or in the bus and the hippie energy was spread all around Limassol. Probably, we were the happiest group mask on Carnival.
Parade finished around 5pm, so every body had just enough time to go eat, drink or have a look around that beautiful city, before the hard-awaited preparty with SuperJuice began. Everybody gathered at the bus stop at 7pm and then left together to a nice place on the beach to get superjuyced. Some people took the task very seriously, others not so much, but everybody had a lot of fun. Later we moved to the concert, where we mostly separated in smaller groups, taking over the whole place around the stage and elsewhere. Party finished at 2am, when we left back to Nicosia, everyone exhausted after a crazy day on Carnival.
