Dear Erasmus Students,

It is time now to give our final farewells – for some of you your stay in Cyprus is almost over, and you will soon be on your way home. We hope that you have had an amazing time and taken the best out of it – discovering new cultures, meeting new friends, mastering a new language and becoming a true European citizen.

We have done our best to make your time as enjoyable as possible and we believe that we have contributed to this special experience with all the activities organised throughout the Year.
However, going home doesn’t mean that your international way of life needs to stop. On the contrary – you can be meeting international students also at your home university and be helping them in the same way as we have been enjoying the time we’ve had with you.
Are you asking how? The answer is very simple:

Erasmus Student Association – Cyprus  is a member of Erasmus Student Network – a European umbrella organisation for student societies similar to ours that all take care of international students and make their exchange period THE time of their lives. There are about 350 such societies in 34 countries of Europe. You can see the full list at http://esn.org/content/section-information

Have you found an ESN organisation at your university or city.
•     YES – then, contact them right away and have a great time next semester back home with new friends and international students coming to your country. You can be sure that you will be welcomed with open arms
•     NO – why not to start a new section on your own with your friends or other former exchange students who might be missing the international environment as well? You can find more information and advice at http://www.esn.org/members/become_section.php or you can always ask us for help and support – we have already gone through the same process of establishing an ESN in Cyprus and we will be happy to share our experience and give you some hints and tips.

Additionally have a look at Country Representatives project by ESA. Maybe you would like to help the students coming from your home country to Cyprus by providing them with information about Cyprus and letting them know  advantages of living here on our island from your perspective.
